Tracking and Monitoring
The DRML™ Service back-office servers track and monitor all of the process stages keeping the information in databases - to which DRML™ gives customers web access for ad-hoc queries and reports. At the end of every month, each customer will be sent a detailed sales report with a matching reconciled remittance.
There are several servers which date, timestamp, track and record everything that happens to the content -
- Packaging server. This records all the metadata and splash page information for each piece of content.
- Licence server. This records every licence attempt and completed transaction for each piece of content.
- DRML™ administration database. This holds all of the information on content, owners, distributors, retailers and affiliates.
- Payment server. All payment transactions are tracked and recorded.
Reporting
Through the DRML™ Service web-pages, customers are able to enquire and report on all of their information - content packaging, licences, payments and so on. DRML™ administration staff can also create regular reports and reconciliations for customer remittances.
Remittances
At the end of every month, DRML™ will collate all transaction information for each piece of content and customer, producing monthly reports for download and analysis. Payments received on the customers behalf are reconciled by the system and any fees due to the DRML™ Service deducted before remittance to the customer.
