Distribute to Resellers
During the packaging process, the DRML™ Service captures all of the metadata surrounding a content item and stores all the pricing and branding information in the DRML™ database
servers. This is effectively an electronic catalogue that lists the customer's content
packaged with DRML's service. If the customer chooses, they can take advantage of this
feature to allow retailers to sign-up with them and order content to resell.
The customer can then package up content specifically for a reseller and be able to track
its sales through the DRML™ Service. Once a retailer takes delivery of their copy of
ordered content and puts a link to it on their web-page, it reaches the end of the
distribution process and can be displayed for sale to end-users.
The DRML™ Service tracks all such orders and subsequent retail sales enabling the
customer to pay appropriate commissions or margin splits to all parties involved
in the distribution chain for any piece of content.
